This month's challenge was Marsala.
This had me rummaging around my scrap room some until I had the great idea to open a bottle of red wine and use it! (I don't even drink red wine). DH suggested beetroot would be a better match so I open a tin and test it - pretty good, correct shade but lighter tone. By then the texture paste was dry on my base, so on went the beetroot juice, some random tipping and some brushing. I built up some further layers under my chiffon photo matt, and added some darker marsala tones in the lace and the flowers. I used a cute label for the title Uno momento - One Moment. All done phew! Sigh of relief lol
